1. Preface
The main goal of this project is to plan a final stage trip to a destination they choose. They will work in groups of 4/5 students and they will have to search all necessary information to carry out the different activities to plan and prepare the trip.
Students will have to produce a travel information product ( leaflet, brochure, poster, presentation doc, blog, etc…) with useful information about a region, country, city, or town they want to visit. They will present their travel information to their classmates and the best option will be selected as a real travel destination.
2. The Project
2.1. The context
TARGET GROUP: 4th ESO 15 to 16-year-old students.
TIMING: Once a week during the first term and final oral presentation at the beginning of the second term. OTHER SUBJECTS INVOLVED: History, Geography, ICT, Visuals and Arts.
2.2. Main objectives
- Learn how to plan a trip through the use of ICT
- Gather information needed for the activities and final project.
- Learn about possible practical situations they will encounter during the trip.
- Get to know about historical fact and interesting landmarks of the chosen destination.
- Get to use social media to share the project.

WARM-UP ACTIVITIES:

ACTIVITY 1: VIDEO
Create a video about your selected city by using one of the following apps (https://animoto.com, https://studio.stupeflix.com/en/, http://slide.ly, https://www.storyboardthat.com/). In order to catch the attention of your fellow classmates. Remember to include music and text too!
ACTIVITY 2:: MAP
Make an itinerary with Google Maps. Show on the map the tour you’ll be taking around the city and mark selected landmarks.
ACTIVITY 3: TWITTER
Create a Twitter account to be able to communicate with family members during the trip, so they create a # for the trip to share the messages.
ACTIVITY 4: INSTAGRAM
Students of each group must create a photo album in Instagram including a hashtag to share the pictures.
ACTIVITY 5: SYMBALOO
Students will create a Symbaloo tile to bookmark all the resources they have used in the project and any final products and information they want to link.
ACTIVITY 6: AUDIOBOOM
Students are going to practice their English in a real situation that may happen during your trip. You must record yourself with your mobile phone in one of the following situations. For example: - Buying a ticket at the underground station. - ordering food in a restaurant. - Asking for prices and sizes in a shop.

ACTIVITY 7: BLABBERIZE
Say why your project should be chosen through a talking image. Use vozme.com to record a short text that tells about the strong points of your destination. Having created the mp3 file, include it on a picture with www.blabberize.com. The image must be connected with your chosen destination.
ACTIVITY 8: THINGLINK
Students find 3 legal images of historical landmarks in their destination and create an interactive thinglink. where you include information about it.

ACTIVITY 9: LOGO
Find a suitable logo for you project. It has to be a legal image (labeled for reuse) or you must mention the source where is taken from.
2.5. Evaluation
What is the audience of the project? The students in class.
How are you going to evaluate all the project? We will evaluate the project with a rubric for the oral presentation and the other products will be assessed separately with other specific criteria.

2. Reflection on the activities: survey done with Google Forms for peer evaluation of the presentation and also intended for choosing the destination and justifying their choice.
